MISSION STATEMENT
Mission statement: MN Let People Vote Coalition is a grass roots group dedicated to protecting our democracy by
supporting expanded voting rights; fair, credible electoral processes; and broad citizen participation and engagement in all aspects of voting. Our organizational mission is to protect and advance voting rights and to increase voter participation in Minnesota.
We support this mission through the following actions:
-Education: Educating ourselves and others about all aspects of the electoral process;
-Advocacy: Advocating for changes to expand voting rights in MN and working against changes that
would inhibit or obstruct voting rights; and
-Voter registration: Registering new voters and encouraging them to vote.
As we do this work we seek opportunities to partner with other like-minded groups on an issue-by-issue basis.

-Fair, unobstructed, accessible voting in MN
-Fair and credible electoral systems
-Broad participation in democratic processes
-Focus on issues at local and state level
-Collaboration and connection with groups within and outside of the metro area where relevant and feasible
